Billy Mcdaniel

Billy McDaniel, a resident of Dothan, passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2016 at his residence.  He was 73.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, July 7, 2016 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Harden officiating. The family will receive friends from 4-6 pm on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.

Mr. McDaniel was born on October 23, 1942 in Eddison, Georgia and moved to Dothan at an early age.  He was employed with Food Service Industry for over 45 years until his retirement 2007.  He enjoyed playing golf and poker.

Survivors include his wife, Glenda McDaniel; his 3 sons, Doyle McDaniel, Randy McDaniel, and Ladon McDaniel; his granddaughter, Meghan Alexis Hollis; 1 great-grandchild, Devin Hollis; his brother, John Francis McDaniel; a special nephew, Jimmy Wayne Faye McDaniel; a host of nieces and nephews.
