Born on July 28, 1937, in Abbeville, Alabama, Billy was a cherished and celebrated figure within his family and community, profoundly inspiring those who knew him best with his wisdom, generosity, and friendly demeanor.
Billy had a vibrant professional life, one that included proudly serving in the United States Army. After his military service, Billy embraced rural life, working as a cow farmer at Robert Dunn Farms. He enjoyed working on tractors, as well as watching westerns in his spare time.
Above all, Billy was a devoted family man who loved nothing more than spending quality time with his loved ones. He leaves behind a beautiful, close-knit family, which includes his children, James Lomaneck, Billy Wayne Lomaneck, and Margie Lomaneck. Billy was further blessed with many loving grandchildren who shared his kind-heartedness. He offered them not only his time and attention but also a steadfast example of integrity and hard work. He is also survive by his brother, Jerrel Lomaneck, and sisters, Ginger Ducker, Faylene Henderson, and Ruth Amons. Billy was predeceased by his parents, Joe and Mary Lomaneck, and his son, Billy Rex Lomaneck.
Known for his generosity, Billy was always willing and ready to lend a helping hand. He consistently put the needs of others above his own. He was also friendly and personable, making lasting impressions with his endearing personality.
