Barbara Ann Fretz

Barbara Ann Fretz, 67, of Dothan passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at a local hospital.

rnServices will be held 4 pm Saturday, April 28, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Stone officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. rnMs. Fretz was born June 27, 1944 in Covington, TN and lived the early part of her life there. She graduated from Byars High School and received her associates degree from Nunnelley State Technical College in Childersburg, AL. She moved to Dothan in 1989 where she was employed with Hall Housing and Investments for over 20 years. Ms. Fretz was a very special person and loved her family and her work. She was of the Baptist faith. rnSurvivors include her daughter Karen Reynolds of Dothan; sons, Paul Jeffrey Renda Greggs of Dothan and Scott Michelle Thurman of Dothan; grandchildren, Tanner, Taylor, Morgan and Christopher Greggs, Brandon Bishop, Corey Thurman, Brock Peters, Jessica Reynolds, and Brooke Reynolds Bass; great-grandchildren, Braden, Hayes, Zane, Bryant, Sicily, Ayala, and Daphne; brothers, Charles Stone of Talladega, AL, and Jimmy Stone of Dothan; a sister Betty Byrd of Dothan.
