Banks Brown

Banks Brown, 73, a resident of Abbeville died Sunday, August 21, 2016 at her home.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 26, 2016 at 10:00 am at Dothan City Cemetery with Rev. John D. Reese officiating and with Robert Byrd of Sunset Funeral Home directing.

Banks was a resident of Henry County and Blowing Rock, North Carolina. She was a graduate receiving her BS degree from Auburn University and her masters from Troy State University.

Survivors include her sons, Thomas Brown and David Wood; her daughter Helen Ann Teague; 10 grandchildren, Kristina Arnold, Logan Brown, Thomas Burke Brown, Emily Ann Brown, Ragan Brown, Samuel Brown, Evelyn Wood, Caroline Wood, Fielding Teague and Holding Teague; one great-grandchild, Carson Arnold.
