I am so sorry for your loss, you have our deepest sympathy. Our Creator did not intend for humans to live just 70 or 80 years on earth and then move on to spend eternity in another realm, he wanted us to live right here on earth in paradise. (Psalms 1:26-28) This grand purpose is an expression of God's love for humankind. The Bible says "The righteous will possess the earth, and live forever on it." (Psalms 37:29) Those who have fallen asleep in death will come back to enjoy life free from sickness and death (John 5:21,28,29; Revelation 21:3,4)
