Peggy Sue Davis

Peggy Sue Davis (AKA Marilyn) age 59 went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 5, 2022.
 
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 8, 2022 at 11:00 am in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Judy Dyson officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service.
 
Peggy was a faithful attendee of Shady Grove CH Church. She was born to the late Willie J and Bessie Davis, in Henry County Alabama. Peggy is preceded in death by her brother, Leon and her sisters Gloria, Elizabeth, Ruby and Charlotte. She leaves behind two daughters, Abbygail Gibson (Mike) and Hannah Hammond (Ryan); her grandchildren, Logan, Dylan, Brantley, Kadence and Wit; her brother, Don Davis (Bonnie); her sisters, Shirley Watkins, Judy Dyson (Bobby) and Windy Davis; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
 
Peggy was a devoted mother, grandmother, and sister. She loved the Lord and her family with all she had. Peggy loved to shop with her girls and sisters and wanted to buy anything that she thought was "Blingy Enough". She was always ready to help whenever she was needed and enjoyed helping others. Peggy certainly enjoyed her life. You never had to question where you stood with her, when she loved you, she loved all the way and when she didn't, she let you know. She gave everything with her whole heart and will be truly missed.
