Julie Spann Obituary
Julie M. Spann passed away early morning on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at Flowers Hospital after a brief illness.
Julie is survived by her mother, Marilyn Rogers of Ozark; her husband, Steve Spann of Dothan; 4 children, Emma Spann (Defne), Austin Spann (Logan), Morgan Bond (Matt), Breanna Spann; 3 grandchildren, Kaylee Bostick, Piper Bond and Layla Spann. She is survived by 2 brothers, one sister and two best friends (Wendy and Angie) who thought of Julie as their sister and she felt the same.
Julie did not want a funeral; she wanted a celebration of her life! The family will have visitation at Sunset Memorial Park tomorrow November 30, 2021, from 4:00 - 5:00 pm. The celebration of life will not take place at this time. It will be held between spring and summer which was Julie's favorite time of the year.
Anyone wanting to honor Julie's spectacular life and memory may make contributions to the children that she loved and helped by sending in donations to Special Olympics at Dothan City Leisure Services.
