Gary Allen Frederick, a resident of Dothan, passed away on Monday, November 8, 2021 at his residence. He was 71 years old.
Gary was born on June 22, 1950 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Raymond and Miriam Gillum Frederick. He spent the earlier years of his life in Texarkana, Arkansas where he would graduate from high school. Gary moved to Bartlett, Tennessee and worked with the Bartlett Police Department from 1974-1988. He retired as a Lieutenant of Investigations. Following his retirement, he moved to Dothan and would work for Fed Ex for more than 17 years. Gary later managed Dothan Mini Storage for several years.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 36 years, Susan Frederick; his son, Michael (Julie) Frederick; his daughters, Sandy (Brian) Cherry and Christina Frederick; his three grandchildren, Kari (Aaron) London, Graham London, and Tanner Beasley; several great-grandchildren; his brothers, Ray (Shawn) Frederick and Richard (Sharon) Frederick; his sister, Patricia (Danny) Conaley; and several nieces and nephews.
