Ti voglio bene Mitchell.

Mr. Wallace and I had the pleasure of working together for a few years at the nursing home. I learned many things from him and will always cherish those times. An older brother figure to me, he will not ever be forgotten.

How does one say goodbye to someone who was such a big part of their life. You have always been there, it is so hard to believe you are gone. My heart is broken, and I wonder how I will go on without you. You have always been my confident, and my protector, my big brother. There is a part of me that went with you that no one can ever replace. Know that I love you and you will never be forgotten. You were such a special person, and your legacy will live on. A hug and kiss for you my dear brother.😘

I met Wally in Basic Training at Ft. Bliss, El Paso, Texas. I got to know him in our early stages of becoming soldiers. He was a fine soldier and friend. We lost contact for the last 20 -30 years and just recently within the last 2-3 years we reunited our friendship once again. He loved listening to the Beatles music back then. I will always remember him singing “as my guitar weeps.”

Ti voglio bene, ciao papa'.

Nickie & family, I am heartbroken and so sorry for your loss. Jr. was such a special person and I looked forward every year to seeing you both at the Kornegay family reunion and listening to him talk about the family history. I am out of town and unable to attend his services, but please know that my love and prayers will be with you now and in the days to come. May the memory of his wonderful smile, humor and love for you always bring you comfort and peace.

I haven’t seen Wally since high school....about 39yrs ago, but I remember him like it was yesterday. (We lived on the same street). Due to social media we were able to re-establish contact, the last few years of his life, and for that I am grateful. It is with great sadness that I say “Farewell my friend, may you Rest-In-Peace. 😪

Nickie, Cindy and family,
My heart is broken because of the loss you have suffered. Wallace was such a good, smart, and funny man. I know he loved Jesus and ran his race well, so my prayer is that the knowledge of those things will be a comfort to each of you in the days to come. Much love.

Sorry to hear about my old friends passing. We served together in Zelo Italy. He was a good man. He was a young man of God and didn't hide it. He loved to play the Beatle tunes on guitar. Had a Lot of good times and conversations. Glad I met you and could call you a friend.RIP Wallace.
