I am so sorry to learn of Mada's passing away. My mother and her father were first cousins, and I was lucky enough to become re-acquainted with Mada in the 1990's. She was a truly beautiful lady and she will be missed by all of her cousins here in Ellijay, Georgia. My thoughts and prayers are with all the family.

I didn't see Mada much in the intervening years, but when we did see each other, we instantly felt as close
as when, in the 1940s, we all , Mada and my late sister, Marie, Shirleen and I, (Carol and Woody were
younger) lived on adjoining farms owned by our Parks grandfathers, here in Gilmer County. How sweet are
the memories, created even in those lean times, of our families united in love and close kinship. Farewell,
dear Mada, go with God.
