Don was upbeat and very faithful in his support of the church and the community. He was a true patriot and gentleman. It is so nice to think of all the young lives he made better through his involvement with Boy Scouts. We always enjoyed talking with him and will certainly miss seeing him at church. Our deepest sympathy to his family.

Dearest Family, while I cannot be with you physically during this heavy moment, my thoughts and heart are there. Please continue to remember all the wonderful times with Don, how terrific a man he was, and how he is now in the arms of our Lord and pain free. He now is one of our "angels" looking after us from above. Blessings and love...

I am very saddened to hear of Don's passing. We served in Vietnam together in 1967 and 68 in the 54th Air Ambulance unit. I was aircraft maintenance officer and Don was a technical inspector. He was one of the best ever, and when he signed off on an aircraft, we knew it was safe to fly. Even more important, he was a good person and a great friend. We in the 54th will miss him.

I worked with Don for 20 years at FlightSafety (FSI). He was always a wonderful friend to us as at FSI. Even when he was on vacation he would send the "FSI Chicks" post cards to say hello. He sent one from Indianapolis the "Hoosier" State to us and another from The Alamo saying: To the FSI Chicks and one Hen. We have yet to decide just who was the hen :)

He was loved by all and we will truly miss our Harley riding, cowboy boot wearing, boy scout loving friend!
