Dawn Gwin was a good man. He loved his children and grandchildren above all measure. Dawn was a good friend that I will miss. I wish I could have known him better but time and distance prevented that. I'll never forget his stories, his jokes, his wit, and honesty. His life was far from empty and his heart was always filled with the love he felt from his children and grandchildren. There's never enough time. But we will meet again.

Godspeed Dawn

I had the pleasure of knowing Dawn for the past 17years as Leslies dad and a wonderful pawpaw to our grandsons. He was always a gentleman and you could see the love he had for his daughter and her children. He showed great respect and love to Chris and we will miss him as will all who loved him. Rest in peace, Dawn.

Dear Jo and Family - I am so sorry to hear of Donny's passing. I have so many good memories of him in junior and senior high school, and also in Sunday School. Those were good times, and we had so much fun. Please accept my condolences and know that many others will also be saddened by his passing.

My condolences to family of Dawn. I knew him in the '80's when we flew the TH-55 teaching primary.
I also flew his Cessna 150 a few times from Elba.
RIP Dawn.

My deepest condolences to Jo and family. Jo, you know you have my love and support. As for Donnie, we knew each all of our lives. I remember fondly the good times we had whether it was raising hell, chasing women, or just tossing back a few cold ones and just enjoying the moment.
So long old friend, I will miss you.
