The Greater Dothan Burial and Cremation Society was formed as a group of like-minded individuals
who are increasingly concerned with the environment and who understand that pollution in its many forms
has truly become one of the greatest plagues mankind has ever faced. We can no longer continue to pollute
as we have done in the past if we want to leave a tomorrow to our children and grandchildren. We must
not only become environmentally responsible, we must become environmentally proactive.

We are also concerned about the high costs associated with a modern day burial or cremation. The
Greater Dothan Burial and Cremation Society is able to address both concerns by offering to its members
an environmentally responsible alternative that is also economically friendly.
Membership in the society is the first step you can take to show your concern about the planet as
well as concern for an obligation that began the day you were born.
We provide our members with:
- A Beautiful Certificate of Membership (suitable for framing) that proclaims your commitment to the earth and
to all future generations.
- A completely safe and secure repository of all necessary information for that time when a death does occur.
Save your family the difficult search for all information needed for a death certificate, social security benefits,
insurance benefits, military benefits, etc. All data is stored in encrypted form and securely backed up.
- A beautiful serial numbered wallet card to carry with you containing the number to call in the event of death.
The phone number is good 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
- A periodic newsletter regarding the association and educational information we feel might be of interest.
- Membership provides for a guarantee of final expenses. Please note that membership must be current in order
for the price guarantee to be effective. (Currently the cremation packages start at $1295.00 and traditional burial
packages start at $2495.00 per person.) All packages include a headstone.
- Membership allows for prepayment of final expenses either before or after death with no increase in cost.
Inflation has been eliminated.
- We understand that any registration fee paid (currently is $49.00 per person) and any
membership dues (currently $2.00 per person per month billed annually) that are paid do not constitute a pre-need
contract. These monies are for the recording and indefinite secure storage of statistical information and the
promulgation of a newsletter/e-letter at periodic but unspecified intervals.
- I may cancel my membership at any time by written request and understand that all information either written
or electronically recorded will be purged from the system and destroyed in a safe and secure fashion. Written
confirmation of the aforementioned purge will be provided upon request.
- The price above represents a plan price and substitutions or deletions are not allowed. This plan does not include cash advance items (i.e. certified copies, newspaper notices, opening and closing grave, etc.). Lifetime membership in the Greater Dothan Burial and Cremation Society is required (Pre-arrangement initiation - $49.00 / Immediate-need initiation - $289.00 / Annual Dues - $24.00 per person.)
